DURHAM, N.H. -- New Hampshire teachers
interested in global climate change and its impact on
New England will be able to take a course on the
subject Aug. 10-15 at the University of New
Taught by UNH scientists and educators, the course, which carries two undergraduate or graduate credits, includes lectures, labs and field trips. There will also be an opportunity for participants to create lessons they can use with their regular curricula.
There is a $25 registration fee; all other expenses, including accommodations for those who need them, will be covered by UNH.
The Global Climate Change Course is sponsored by Sea Grant Extension, UNH's Institute for the Study of Earth, Oceans and Space, and UNH's Climate Change Research Center. For more information, contact Sharon Meeker at 749-1565 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Applications are due by July 17.
