This wasnt an internship where students do the jobs that no one else wants to. When we went to NASA-Goddard at the end of the summer to give presentations, I realized that I was researching new territory. The scientists were genuinely interested in what we worked on. I learned a lot about the topic I was researching, but I also learned about the process of how to apply the things you learn at school to the real world.
