Meet R&D Fellow

Claire Treat

Katelyn Dolan

"...I've had a great experience working with world-class researchers. Because of the R&D fellowship, I was able to successfully compete for a national fellowship to pursue my Ph.D."

She's been studying biogeochemistry as both intern and fellow in the Research & Discover program. She began R&D as a junior at Mt. Holyoke College. Her intership was followed by an R&D fellowship at UNH. She now has an M.S. in Earth Science and is researching soil biogeochemistry in the Arctic.

Following her Research & Discover experience at UNH and NASA, she competed for and was awarded a prestigious Department of Energy Office of Science Graduate Fellowship. The R&D experience and professional contacts proved to be instrumental in launching her research and her Ph.D. studies.
