RESEARCH ASSISTANTSHIP
Earth System Modeling / Remote Sensing
The University of New Hampshire, with the support of a grant from the NASA Interdisciplinary Science Program, invites applications for a graduate student research assistant for studies on Earth system modeling and remote sensing.
The recipient is expected to study towards a related graduate degree at UNH, and to conduct graduate research on Earth system modeling and remote sensing as part of an established multi-institutional team of researchers.The team is focused on the development of a global-scale integrated model of terrestrial and freshwater biogeochemical cycles (carbon, nitrogen, and water) in the context of changes in land use, atmospheric chemistry, and climate.
Established in 1985, the Institute for the Study of Earth, Oceans, and Space has become a world leader in the fields of space science, terrestrial ecosystems, oceanography, atmospheric science and global climate change.
